ROOK is a project that has been in the works for almost two years. It is the kind of project you talk about, and talk about, but it never happens, because it's just too big a dream. It is a little early to start hyping, but HOLY SHIT this is finally happening. All you get is a teaser, but you may notice a date in that little picture, there...?

, illustrated by , edited by me, ROOK is about the natural progression of the classic superhero legacy. It is also about graffiti, technophilia, typography, and the culture of modern youth. Also featured are polyamorous queers, spiritual hipsters, and psychotic valkyrie mothers. I promise, it's gonna be good.
This story has been very close to me for quite some time, and it brings me great pleasure to say that the first issue of ROOK will be available for free, online, on June 1st. Free, and sexy. You want?
